Victor Nosi

Victor Nosi is the non executive chairman of Birdi®. He has worked for several blue chip companies that inclued Absa, SAB, Sasol and also South African Airways. Most of these positions are in Marketing Communications.

Victor is also a trustee of Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

Getting more South Africans to Birdi®
Birdi®, a proudly South African company, was born out of the association between the initial members of the Birdi® Golf Apparel Close Corporation and Morui Investment Holdings.


Charlene Lewison

Charlene is the Marketing and Sales Director of Birdi® Clothing (Pty) Limited. She is the designer and coordinator of the Birdi® range of golf apparel, which includes planning, production, and manufacturing.

Her experience in the clothing industry dates back many years having worked with companies such as Rhamani Enterprises and Ronald Sassoon.

Joe Nalane

Joe Nalane is a corporate lawyer and a founding director of Nalane Manaka Inc. Nalane has extensive corporate law experience and he has represented individuals and institutional clients including para-statals.

Len Lewison

Len is the Managing Director of Birdi® Clothing (Pty) Ltd and has been actively involved in the company since 1996, at which time he also involved his daughter Charlene, and they set about developing the company and the Birdi® brand into one of the top local produced Golf ranges in South Africa.

An active golfer for many years at Killarney Golf Club (Where he is a past Captain) Len's focus and understanding of the golfing requirements at all levels of the game has held him in good stead.

Phillip Zondo

Phillip has spent most of his working life in the Marketing and Sales related environments. He occupied some senior positions at various companies among others Nedcor, Standard Bank, Liberty Life, Telkom, Sowetan newspaper and served as an Accountant Director for Leo Burnett.

Kenny Setzin

Kenny Setzin was an Executive Director of New Africa Investments Limited (Nail). Kenny is the Non-Executive Chariman of J Walter Thompson SA and he is also Non-Executive Chairman of Ince(Pty)Limited.

Prior to that he worked for Telkom and lectured on a part-time basis at North-West University (South Africa) for a period of 6 years.

Irwin Sacks

Irwin Sacks is a Chartered accountant and has been in private practice for 14 years and a partner in Beecham Capital.
